Western Swagger by Kevin Christopher of KC Fonts is a free Western display font with tall, dark letters and the rough-cut silhouette of old frontier posters. Its uneven slab serifs, pinched joins, and slightly wavering edges keep the capitals from looking mechanically typeset.
It can move between saloon branding and theatrical entertainment because the broad shapes read like hand-painted storefront lettering. The same frontier character suits barbecue packaging, country music posters, and rodeo merchandise, where the lettering can become part of a rustic product identity rather than a neutral label.
