Unik Type 2.0 by Erik Getzel is a free retro-techno display font with tall, tightly drawn letters and rounded geometric strokes. Deep notches and abrupt breaks cut into the forms, giving the otherwise smooth construction a distinctly mechanical edge.
Its futuristic industrial style suits electronic music posters and science-fiction game graphics. The narrow proportions also lend themselves to fashion branding and club-event identities with a sleek, unusual profile. In interface graphics, the broken forms can become a circuit-like emblem.
