Tunnepinta by Junkohanhero is a free distorted cartoon display font with hulking, uneven letterforms and a raw street-lettering attitude. Oddly carved openings break up its dense black silhouettes.
Posters are an especially apt medium for this blunt, unruly lettering, especially when promoting underground music events or rowdy comic entertainment. The same rough humor can carry into skateboard merchandise and game graphics, where the letters become chunky illustrated shapes rather than neutral typography. It is at its best as a central title with an intentionally homemade, noisy look that immediately signals irreverent entertainment rather than polished corporate design in independent projects.
