Sabor Digital by Iza and Paulo W of Intellecta Design is a free eroded display font with elegant, sweeping letterforms broken into a field of round dots. Its thick-and-thin strokes, elongated curves, and scattered edges give the lettering the look of a damaged halftone print.
Poster design is its most convincing setting. The dotted texture also suits album packaging, music event graphics, and magazine covers inspired by photocopies, print screens, or distressed ink. In branding, the lettering can become a decorative mark whose worn pattern is part of the identity.

Sabor is an upright connected display font with script characteristics. It is not a script font, and the creator strongly recommends using capital letters only at the beginnings of words and sentences, in contrast with lowercase letters. The font is not designed for all-caps settings.
Sabor has almost 700 glyphs and supports major Latin-based languages. It includes more than 12,000 manually adjusted kerning pairs.
Its OpenType features include:
- Final forms and initial forms.
- Special sets for uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Hundreds of contextual alternates and ligatures that provide letterform variations and connections.
- Ornaments, including tails.
Because the font includes many alternate letters and combinations, the creator recommends using the glyph palette to find appropriate options for specific designs. The font’s features can be accessed in InDesign, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, and similar software. The glyph palette is particularly useful for accessing the Contextual Alternates feature. The Sabor User Guide is a PDF brochure in the Gallery section.
Two related fonts are also available: SaborWords and SaborRasgosEscritura.
Sabor has original letterforms designed by Iza W, with overall creative direction and core programming by Paulo W.
