Gauss Jordan, created by Tom Murphy 7 of Divide By Zero Fonts, is a free experimental calligraphic display font with unusually tall loops and sweeping vertical strokes. Its compact lowercase forms shift between rounded curves and sharp, cut-in joins, giving the lettering an odd, almost coded look.
Album covers are its most convincing setting, especially for electronic or experimental music that can use lettering as a cryptic emblem. It also suits poster art and game titles. Across fashion graphics and surreal editorial illustration, the same elongated strokes let the words behave like drawn symbols rather than ordinary type.

This one is named after a famous matrix algorithm by a pair of famous mathematicians: Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss and Marie Ennemond Camille Jordan. Despite having fruity european names (Jordan is a Guy), they each made important contributions, and are certainly deserving of a font.
Even if it really comes from my bored notes in Matrix Algebra class.
Slender and a little bit postmodern. Ironically, it's missing numbers.
