Futurex Bitmax, designed by Jens Czaplo of Apostrophic Lab, is a free dot-matrix display font built from evenly sized circular marks with consistent spacing. Its rounded grid gives the letters a friendly digital character with soft curves and a slightly hand-assembled outline. The open joins keep the modular construction plainly visible.
Its retro electronic look fits arcade graphics, music posters, and science-fiction publishing, where the dotted strokes recall indicator panels and early screen lettering. The alphabet can also become part of the imagery on tech packaging or game interfaces, turning words into rows of illuminated buttons rather than neutral type.
