Escape Artist Extended, designed by Robin Nicholas and Patricia Saunders of the Monotype Type Drawing Office, is a free futuristic geometric sans serif built from exceptionally wide letterforms, open shapes, and cleanly drawn curves. Strokes stay slim and even, with gently rounded corners.

Technology branding and electronic music posters occupy different worlds, but the stretched proportions and precision-drawn shapes lend both a cool mechanical edge that recalls control panels and digital hardware.
